It's official, the premiere of the final season of LOST has been announced as Feb. 2, 2010 at 8/7c. Looking forward to the discussion that will follow!!
It certainly has taken a "Heart of Darkness" direction. For the final group of episodes, I'm not sure about the wisdom of introducing a whole new set of mysteries and characters.
I confess, I don't get why the smoke monster found a "loop hole" by imitating the dead body of John Locke. There have been plenty of other people who have been murdered on the Island. ...and, are Widmore and Dan's mother working for Smokemonster, and that's why they paid so close attention to John in their own individual way?
There are just so many other new questions when questions from season one were never really resolved. I'm beginning to doubt the writers' ability to avoid another ALIAS-like ending.
I hate to be pessimistic about it, though. I'm going to be glued to the TV for each episode until the proverbial fat lady sings.
So sorry I never got a chance to do a write up from last week, hopefully I can do a combo-writeup after tonight's eppy and we can discuss more of Robby's comments.
